Will the laundromat be open during the holiday?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Morris Laundromation laundromats will be open during all holidays.  Our laundromats open automatically.  All of our locations will be open regardless of the holiday.  If there is an emergency, staff is on call, and will assist with the emergency.  Please check locations for individual hours of operation.

Why won’t my one dollar bill work in the X Changer?

In order to keep our costs low throughout our facilities, our X Changer do not accept one dollar bills.

Do you still take quarters?

Accepted Answer

We no longer take quarters.  We still take cash, $5, $10, $20 or large, but instead of quarters you now get a reusable laundry card.

Can I combine laundry cards?

Yes, you can combine your laundry cards! Please call 717-761-3251 during business hours, and we would be happy to help you.

How can I check my laundry card balance?

Accepted Answer

If you are at one of our card locations, just put your card in the card reader under the touch screen, and you can check your card history and balance.

Why doesn’t my laundry card work?

Accepted Answer

The most common reason that cards don’t work is due to having insufficient funds. Before you contact us, use the X Changer to check your balance. Another issue that somtimes happens is a "bad card read." The card readers are sensitive and require a quick smooth swipe to read the card.

Why does the washer not spin out completely or drain all of the water?

Accepted Answer

This usually happens when too much detergent is used. The new washers use less water and require less detergent. Follow the recommended amount found on your detergent bottle, and this will probably eliminate the problem.

Can I purchase detergent on location?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our laundromats have soap machines.
